The Anglican Church in The Hague

Chaplaincy Vision Day

In the Anglican church, the congregation is actively encouraged to play a role in the process of identifying and inviting the right minister to be their new vicar or chaplain.  The way you can be involved is through a chaplaincy ‘Vision Day’, where you get to voice your hopes and ideas about our church community.

Everyone is warmly invited to our Chaplaincy Vision Day on Saturday 19 September. We will come together to pray, to share ideas, and reflect on God’s calling for our church: who are we, and who might God be calling us to become?

Our patron, the Intercontinental Church Society, will be with us to guide and encourage our conversations as we start shaping a profile of our church and consider the gifts and qualities we hope for in our next chaplain. We hope this will enable us to advertise the role in October, and prepare a document that captures our congregational character and church presence for prospective candidates.

We hope that you will come ready to share, pray, and be part of this hopeful new chapter. The more voices around the table, the richer our shared vision will be!
