Our Lenten programme this year will be centred on Wednesdays. At its heart will be the opportunity to join in celebrating Holy Communion each Wednesday at 12.30 and to share in a simple lunch together afterwards. Then there will be two opportunities to come together for discussion around our Lent study book: “Saying Yes to Life” by Ruth Valerio.
Dr. Ruth Valerio works as the Global Advocacy and Influencing Director for Tearfund. She is an environmentalist, theologian and social activist and in this book she uses the biblical account of the seven days of Creation in Genesis to reflect on our environmental concerns and crises.
