All members on the Electoral Roll are warmly invited to attend. Do plan to arrive a few minutes early, so we can begin on time. If you are not on the Electoral Roll, you are still most welcome to read the reports to learn more about the life and also the finances of our congregation.
The purpose of an AGM is:For the consideration of various reports:
An Annual Report on the proceedings of the church council and the activities of the chaplaincy generally; The ANNUAL REPORT will be made available in the coming days.
The Financial Statements of the Council for the year ending on the 31st December immediately preceding the meeting audited or independently examined; The FINANCIAL STATEMENT will be made available in the coming days.
and the Independent Examiner Provisional Report will be made available in the coming days.
For the appointment of the Independent Examiner or Auditor.For the election of 2 ChurchwardensFor the election of 5 Members to the Church Council (3 for a term of three years, 1 for a term of two years,1 for a term of one year)If you decide to stand for election, please provide your nomination formto the Wardens via email (wardens@stjohn-stphilip.org), in person, or through the letter box in the church office door, on the upper level of the Hall. Paper copies of the nomination forms can also be found at the back of the church as well as the Hall.
In order to have an orderly and practical meeting, please submit any nominations and matters for ‘Any Other Business’ to the Wardens as early as possible. There will be a last opportunity to submit nomination forms prior to the start of the AGM.
