Sing to the Lord a new Song! Psalm 96
The Adult Choir is comprised of approximately 25 singers, ranging in age from 14 upwards, and spanning the breadth of musical skill from gifted amateur to professional singer. Our main task is to help the congregation express their worship of God through "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs". We have a very wide repertoire, ranging from plainsong through traditional hymns to modern worship songs, as well as anthems and canticle settings by composers from the Renaissance to the twenty-first century. We rehearse in church on Fridays, 19.45 - 22.00, and half an hour before services, which are at 11.00 every Sunday, as well as Choral Evensong at 17.00 on fourth Sundays, and Matins at 11.00 on second Sundays(4x times a year). For further details, please contact the organist and choirmaster, Christina Edelen, via the church office.
