In the Anglican tradition, Prayer During the Day, Morning and Evening Prayer and Night Prayer provide ways of punctuating each day of the week with praise, prayer and attention to Scripture, Thus, 'seven whole days, not one in seven' will we praise God, pray for God's world and allow ourselves to be formed and re-formed by God's word.
(from 'Introduction to Common Worship: Daily Prayer')
We invite you to come and join us for a short half an hour said service of Morning Prayer, which takes place every weekday at 9 a.m. You might like to call in and take part on a regular day each week, on special occasions, or simply from time to time. Prayer is the foundation of our work as a church, and this is why we choose to begin each day in prayer.
If you are unable to join us at these times, but would nevertheless like to begin to pray the offices as part of your personal devotional life, you can find these on line and set up a 'feed for daily prayer' from the Church of England website.
