For many years the Church of St John & St Philip hosted The Care Shop - selling second hand clothes and making provision for those in need. Established in the 1950s, it was the first shop of its kind in the city. Now that there are many other such shops, the custom at the Care Shop decreased dramatically and the decision was made to close. However we still hold occasional clothes sales throughout the year for international students. Please contact the church office for details of future events.
