Marriage Preparation
Services of Christian marriage often take place in our church, and the church hall is a popular venue for receptions. Preparing for the big day can prove an enormous undertaking, and you may feel like you have an endless list of tasks to complete. At the Church of St John & St Philip, we would like to support and accompany you through this exciting, but often very stressful, time. For those seeking to be married, or to have their marriage blessed by an Anglican minister at our church, we will offer a short course of marriage preparation - inviting you to think about the commitment you are making before God, about your plans for the future, and about some of the challenges you may face as a couple. We can also discuss the possibility of conducting marriage preparation for those who, while resident in The Hague, are going to be married elsewhere - possibly 'back home' in another part of the world.
