Family Worship
Fun and laughter, a relaxed atmosphere, enthusiastic singing, simple yet profound prayers, great story-telling and a warm welcome. These are the ingredients which make up Family Worship, our 9.30 a.m. service on Sundays at St. John and
St. Philip. The service takes place in the Church Hall and lasts for approx. 45 minutes with refreshments available afterwards. On the 2nd Sunday of the month we have a service of Holy Communion. On the 4th Sunday there is no Family Worship, as the whole of the church family meets together at 11 a.m. in the main church building for an All Age service.
The Family Worship Aim:
"Our aim in Family Worship is to support, inspire and encourage young children and their families, as they work to build solid foundations for their Christian lives."
